ECLC is located in ᐊᒥᐢᑿᒌᐚᐢᑲᐦᐃᑲᐣ (Amiskwacîwâskahikan) on Treaty 6 territory and District 9 of the Metis Nation of Alberta. We honour and acknowledge this land as the traditional territories of many First Nations such as the Nêhiyawak (Cree), Anishinaabe (Saulteaux), Niitsitapi (Blackfoot), Dene, and Nakota Sioux and Traditional home of the Metis people.
